The Gesturing Towards Decolonial Futures collective engages in collaborations around different kinds of artistic, pedagogical, cartographic, and relational experiments that aim to identify and de-activate colonial habits of being, and to gesture towards the possibility of decolonial futures. We are committed to making all our resources open access under creative commons and to support our artistic and research partners in the best ways we can.

In the context of the current crises and in the spirit of reciprocity, we would like to invite those who are moved by our work to consider offering financial support to our indigenous relations and collaborators in Brazil who are part of the “Teia das 5 Curas” network, with whom we have been learning how to work towards global change through five dimensions of healing: healing of the intellect, healing of the senses/feelings, healing of relations, healing of exchanges, and healing of cycles.

If you can, please contribute to this fundraiser, through which we continuously redirect funds to our collaborators and communities who are in need of more urgent support.

O coletivo Gestos Rumo A Futuros Decoloniais colabora em torno de diferentes tipos de experiências artísticas, pedagógicas, cartográficas e relacionais que visam identificar e desativar os hábitos coloniais de ser, e fazer gestos rumo a possibilidade de futuros decoloniais. Estamos comprometidos em fazer com que o material que criamos sejam de acesso aberto (Creative Commons) e em apoiar nossos parceiros artísticos e de pesquisa da melhor maneira que pudermos.

No contexto das crises atuais e no espírito de reciprocidade, gostaríamos de convidar àqueles que se sintam movidos por nosso trabalho a oferecer apoio financeiro aos nossos parentes e colaboradores indígenas no Brasil que fazem parte da rede “Teia das 5 Curas”, com a qual estamos aprendendo a trabalhar numa mudança global baseada cinco dimensões de cura: cura do intelecto, cura dos sentidos/sentimentos, cura das relações, cura das trocas, e cura dos ciclos.
