Limites da Modernidade e outros saberes para o futuro: Uma investigação terra adentro.Essa vivência inaugura um projeto de investigação coletiva sobre as motivações e efeitos das crises sistêmicas que vivemos, buscando apontar para outras possibilidades de se viver e interagir no mundo. A partir de perspectivas e práticas indígenas e pós-coloniais, centramos nosso horizonte crítico na separação ou desligamento do ser humano com o mundo natural e com um metabolismo maior, e escavamos a terra em busca de caminhos para reencontrarmos formas de conexão com a natureza e com tudo o que é vivo. Entregamos nossos corpos para os saberes da Terra, dos povos originários e de toda ciência que abre caminhos e possibilidades e não busca reduzir e sufocar existências. Deixamos algo de nós morrer e acolhemos novas possibilidades. Entramos inquietos para sairmos apaixonados.

Gorca EarthCARE 5-9 August, Podlehnik, Slovenia.
We will examine how our current global problems are not related to a lack of knowledge but to an inherently violent modern-colonial way of being. This way of being is difficult to deconstruct because it represents the “normal” way that we inhabit and relate to the world. We will explore the three major constitutive denials that drive this violent, “normal” way of being; denial of systemic violence and complicity in harm, denial of the limits of the planet and the denial of our inevitable entanglement in the whole living metabolism. This training is not meant to be easy to palate candy. This is more like the broccoli seeds that you plant and tend to over time in order to cultivate something of value. We will not offer any quick fixes, but you will leave with a lot to think about and hopefully grow from.
